These last few weeks, I just can’t believe how quickly things have progressed and lined themselves out better than I could have imagined. Just a few weeks ago I would have said that I was doubtful we would make the June 8th date because it just didn’t seem possible with the rate at which everything had been moving lately. But clearly I was wrong!
I feel like God has been moving mountains for our little family.
As of today, we completed our “final presentation” and officially set a court date! The final presentation is basically when the caseworkers “present” everything that they know about Lil G. It is filmed for the record file. His was probably literally one of the shortest ever due to the lack of information on his family history and since he has been with me since day 4.
But thankfully, it means that we can excitedly announce that on May 25th at 10:15am, Lil Baby G will become a Page 🙂
We also happen to be so lucky to get the same adoption date as the Beck Family who is also adopting a son from foster care just 45 minutes before us! And we are SO blessed that she shared her videographer who will also be filming our adoption since my family will not be making it out to Denver on such short notice. As you can see, God has connected us with the most amazing friends and supporters and I am constantly astonished by his miracles as we step through this process.
While our bio-family can’t be there in person, we are allowed as many people as we want so we welcome any of our local friends and family to join us in officially welcoming Lil G to the Page Family!
